Inspired Health, LLC — ihealthmi.org

Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Inspired Health, LLC (“Inspired Health,” “we,” “us,” “our“) is a Michigan limited liability company operated by Carla Wysko. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through ihealthmi.org (the “Site“) and through the intake and questionnaire forms we ask clients to complete, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy does not cover the separate privacy practices of third parties we link to or rely on, including the companies listed in Section 7. Their handling of your information is governed by their own policies.

By using the Site, you agree to this policy. Please also read our Terms and Conditions.

The Site is intended only for people located in the United States.

2. A note before you read further

Inspired Health is a health and wellness education and coaching practice. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and we are not a licensed clinical provider, so information you share with us — including information about your symptoms, history, diagnoses, medications, or supplements — is not protected by HIPAA or by physician–patient or therapist–patient privilege. We handle it carefully and describe how below, but we want you to understand that distinction before you decide what to share.

Please do not send us information you would not be comfortable having stored outside a clinical setting.

3. Information you give us

4. Health-related information

Several of the things above involve information about your health, body, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, supplements, mental and emotional state, sleep, diet, and lifestyle. Specifically:

  • Ask Carla questions almost always contain health information, because that is what they are for.
  • Contact form messages and booking requests may contain it if you choose to include it.
  • The Medical History form and Lifestyle Questionnaire we ask clients to complete are health information by design.

We collect this information because you choose to give it to us so that we can respond to you or work with you. We use it only for that purpose and the related purposes in Section 6.

Where these forms live. The waiver of liability is completed on a Documenso instance we host ourselves. The Medical History and Lifestyle Questionnaire are currently hosted on Google Forms, which means responses are stored in Google’s systems and are subject to Google’s privacy practices in addition to ours.

5. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically:

  • Server and log data — IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and date and time of access.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8.

We do not use advertising pixels or retargeting.

6. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • create and administer your account and membership, and give you access to the content you paid for;
  • process payments, renewals, cancellations, and billing questions through Stripe;
  • receive, review, and answer your Ask Carla questions;
  • respond to your messages, booking requests, and support questions;
  • deliver the Free Healing Workbook;
  • send you membership and account emails (receipts, renewal notices, service announcements) and, if you have requested the workbook, newsletters and marketing emails until you opt-out, which you can do at anytime by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any promotional email you receive from us;
  • publish featured Ask Carla questions anonymously, with your permission, as described in the Terms;
  • provide one-to-one coaching, reflexology, or functional medicine services if you engage us for them;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
  • keep records, including of signed waivers and completed intake forms; and
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

7. When we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

WhoWhy
StripeTo process membership payments and manage subscriptions.
MailchimpTo send newsletters and marketing emails to subscribers, and to manage the mailing list.
Google (Forms)Hosting and storage of the Medical History form and Lifestyle Questionnaire responses.
ResendSending transactional email from the Site (account emails, form notifications).
DreamHostHosting the Site and its database, including backups.
Professional advisorsOur accountant, attorney, or similar advisors, where reasonably needed.
Law enforcement or othersWhere we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a subpoena, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inspired Health, our members, or others.
A successorIf the practice is sold, merged, or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify members if a transfer would materially change how information is handled.

Each of these providers processes personal information on our behalf, under a written contract that limits their use of it to providing the service to us. We do not permit them to use it for their own purposes. We do not control their systems, and their own terms govern their internal practices.

Featured Ask Carla questions are published within the membership only. We will ask you separately before using a question anywhere else. We remove your name and edit details we reasonably believe could identify you, but published content is not anonymous in a technical or guaranteed sense.

8. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions — logging you in, keeping your session active, and enforcing membership access (set by WordPress and Paid Memberships Pro). The Site does not work properly without these.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or accessing member content.

9. Email and your choices

  • Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us. We will honor the request promptly.
  • Account and transactional emails. Receipts, renewal notices, password resets, and similar messages are part of your membership and cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is active.

10. Access, correction, and deletion

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you;
  • correct anything inaccurate;
  • delete your information; or
  • stop using your information for a particular purpose.

Email [email protected] with your request and we will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.

Requests about health information. If your request concerns consumer health data — anything you have told us about your body, symptoms, conditions, medications, or history, including Ask Carla questions and intake forms — it is handled under our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy instead. That policy gives you the same rights and adds others, including the right to withdraw consent and the right to appeal a refusal. It sets a response deadline of 45 days, which we may extend once by up to 45 more days if we tell you within the first 45 days that we are extending and why. You do not need to decide which policy applies: send us the request and we will handle it under whichever gives you more.

Some limits apply. We may need to keep certain records to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations, or maintain signed waivers and intake documents. We also cannot retract a featured question that has already been published, though we will remove it from the Site going forward on request where reasonably practicable.

You can also update your account details yourself from your Membership Account page.

Note on state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy or consumer health data laws. We honor the access, correction, and deletion requests described above for all users regardless of state.

How to make a health data request. See Section 9 of our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which explains the subject lines to use and how appeals work.

11. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in Section 6, and then delete it. The periods below are our general practice.

WhatHow long
Health information of any kind — including Ask Carla questions, intake forms, and anything you tell us about your body or historyAs set out in Section 13 of our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Your account and membership record7 years after your membership ends
Billing and tax records7 years, as our recordkeeping and tax obligations require
Signed waivers and client agreements6 years after our work together ends
Contact form messages and booking requests24 months
Email subscription recordsUntil you unsubscribe, and then only as needed to honor that request
Server and log data12 months
Content we have published anonymously with your permissionIndefinitely, since it can no longer be linked to you

We may keep information longer where we need it to resolve a dispute, enforce our agreements, or comply with a legal obligation — and we may delete it sooner if you ask. See Section 10.

12. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including access controls on the Site’s administrative area and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Membership access is restricted, and Ask Carla submissions are stored privately and are not publicly readable.

No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet or stored electronically, and you share information with us at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your login.

13. Children and minors

The Site is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account, hold a membership, or submit information to us — with or without a parent’s or guardian’s permission. See Section 3 of our Terms and Conditions.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it and close any associated account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

14. Users outside the United States

The Site is operated from Michigan and is intended for users in the United States. We do not offer the Site or our services to individuals located outside the U.S. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative, and your information will be processed in the United States under U.S. law.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers and extensions send automated signals — such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control — that express a preference not to be tracked across websites or to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

There is nothing on this Site for those signals to turn off. We do not use analytics services, advertising pixels, retargeting, or any other third-party tracking technology. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or for any other company’s advertising or marketing. The only cookies we set are the ones needed to log you in, keep your session active, and enforce membership access (see Section 8).

If that ever changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and will honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.

16. Third-party links

The Site links to other websites, including affiliate links and product pages. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify members by email. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
